Check For fuel on the fuel rail with the engine stop. If there is fuel, then check for spark at one of the plugs or Kal pac area.
If all is well you have crank sensor problem.
Good luck
It is one of the possibilities. And the most likely one. That is why it is better to get a scan at the dealer and if you are a do it yourselfer , then you have an identified problem. It might be the cheapest way to resolve the issue
Good luck
Yes it is called crank position sensor. It is usually located on the engine and the crankshaft pulley spins around it. It is best that you get your engine Scan, which will eliminate some of the guess work. And sometimes they can be wrong also.
Good luck

Are you saying if i have fuel and a spark then the fuel pump is working and that the crank sensor is the problem. Because i have been told if the crank sensor is bad that the car will go dead after a few minutes of driving it. My Pathfinder drives fine once you get it cranked and has yet to just go dead after a few minutes of driving. Also, how do i test the crank sensor?
Thanks for your continuing support.
I assume you mean crankshaft position sensor and if so do you happen to know where it is located and how hard it is to replace?
Thanks for the continued support.
I am going to Scan the truck this weekend, will let you know what i find.
Thanks for the continuous support.
