2002 Honda Accord. SRS LIGHT CAME ON

Have you checked all the relevant fuses for the SRS system? That would be a good place to start. Accidentally shorting out a circuit while checking for power during the install could have blown a fuse.
Did you buy a plug and play wiring kit for this install? If you did, I would try unplugging it and disconnecting a battery cable for 10 minutes. Reconnect the cable and see if the issue is still present.
If you hard-wired the unit in yourself, I would double check the wiring to make sure you haven't tapped into a wire in the SRS system, which could trigger a code.

you need a scanner to check what sensor have been triggered from there you can start repairs. your srs system does a systems check when you start the car if your lights are immediately coming on this is a trip to a garage. Good Luck Check your fuses to make sure nothing is blown before proceeding to having it checked

Yes the SRS (air bags) light could be related to the horn problem. Working on the SRS can be very hazardous so I highly recommend you take the car to your local Honda dealer and let an expert repair the SRS. The check engine light can be many things and a scan of the ECU will help in diagnosing the problem.

have it brought to a mechanic to diagnose the issue. the SRS light is warning you that there is a malfunction with your airbag system and that it may not deploy in an accident or could deploy suddenly without any further warning

If you look under the front seats you will see wires that are attached to the seat belt anchor.There is a plug joining them wires.Disconnect the plugs then clean them and replace.That should solve your problem.Note.Make sure the ignition is switched off befor doing so.Good luck.pippall

that code retreival code does not retreive srs dtc's...and there arent any sensors in ur door .. the srs light is on for a different reason..if u can reply back with a code.. i can help u out..

SRS = Safety Restraint System. Work all your seatbelts, make sure they snap in & release properly. If you have the system where it detects someone in seat without belt on, may be a sticky switch under seat,may be able to fix it just by sitting in seat then getting out of it, or hitting seat cushion with hand, look for things like that. Also check owners manual for location of possible air bag fuse blown. If you can't cure it, stop at shop or dealer & have it checked, just in case it is airbag not working.

the Srs light come when the computer detect a problem with the system, but never go off until you fix the problem and reset the computer,
When the light is on, yhe SRS or air bags are deactivated if you have an accident the air bags don't will deploy and you don't gonna be protected.
Check when the light come on or if you have idea why com on.

You can read the codes on your car, using Self diagnostic yellow connector behind the instrument panel fuse box. reading the blinking of the SRS light.
