2002 Explorer V6. Power door locks have stopped working.

Mine just started doing the exact same thing tonight. I disconnected the battery to change a DPFE sensor and when I reconnected I had this problem. I also have auto headlamps and they are not working either. I don't know what is wrong, I checked all the fuses also and everything looks good. I wonder if it is a relay??? I will make sure I respond to you if I find a solution.

Need to know whitch fues is for the door locks for a 1992 exployer

The door locks run off a relay powered by a circuit breaker located in or near the fuse block. It also runs current to the power windows too. If the windows work the breaker is good

2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

Good luck!

Wondering if I can put power windows and locks on this vehicle as it's not equiped with them.

Unfortunately no. The design on the interior of the doors is different and cannot accomodate the needs of the power window motor, track, glass, wiring etc.

Power door locks work on 3 doors not on ds rear door

I would check and clean any ground connections you find, you say it works but does not have the power, this means amperage to that circut is low

Power doors not working on my 1992 explorer

it could be a fuse you need to establish which one it is by looking for a fuse that as blown, if all fuses are ok you will need to take the inside pannel off from the drivers door there you will see a black box with wires going to it make sure all wires are secure if they are it will be that box that as gone this box controls the centrel locking system.. but try replaceing battery in the fob that you press to get into your car.
