Problem is intermittent. sometimes when you get in the car and start it, there is an electrical problem where the gas gauge and water temp gauge, radio, HVAC windows and locks are all dead, then you may back 5 ft. down the driveway and it all starts working. I've tried to wiggle everything in the fuse box, wiring, etc. to make it happen with no luck. Today it did it and I still had the drivers door open so I popped off the fuse box cover and it started working, and (of course) I wiggled everything with no results.
Take the driver side kick panel out an check to see if there are any loose ground connections . Normaly car makers hide connections behind this place . Looking at a wiring diagram mite show that all these thing's work intermittently share a common ground point .
Check out this ground connection
SP202
On the left side of the instrument panel, near the junction block
To find or see this ground you may need to pull out the left fuse block .From the picture ,that's what it looks like .
