Firing order set as diagram show me and I am still back firing. What could be my problem

There are three engine sizes, but these tell a different firing order and said it changed in 1995!

I do not know if you have the 2.2L; 2.8L or 3.6L Engine; however I have included all below.

For the 2.2L DOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder:

1-3-4-2
