When an vehicle's air conditioning system has not been used for several months, the seals within the system start getting dry. I've never worked on a Peugeot 206 or any other peugeot before, that's why I had no idea where the low pressure ac port was. The high pressure ac port is the easiest to locate, because it is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, on left side of the radiator. The low pressure ac port is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, to the back in the center, under the windshield. The low pressure ac port and the high pressure ac port both have black dust caps. The low pressure ac port is the smaller of the two.

THE LINES THAT RUN FROM THE AC ARE TWO SIZES. THE SMALLER DIAMETER IS THE HI SIDE. IT RUNS FROM THE COMPRESSOR TO THE CONDENSER. THE LARGER DIAMETER IS THE LOW SIDE AND RUNS TO THE EVAPORATOR INSIDE THE CAR. THE FILLER FOR THE LOW SIDE IS ON THE LARGER LINE. IT WOULD HELP TO KNOW THE CAR IN QUESTION WHICH WASN'T PROVIDED
The easiest way to locate the low side charge port on any vehicle is to locate the A/C compressor, follow the "larger" of the two lines all the way back to the firewall. Some where along that line you will find the low side charge port.
Good luck.
Regards,
On that year a4 and a6 there is no low side charging port. (sucks) The way you charge those systems is by evacuating all of the refrigerant, then with the vehicle off, add the correct amount of refrigerant to the high side port (turning the compressor over by hand occasionally)
The Low-side port is just about dead-center in front of the engine. Right in front of the exhaust manifold, and between the two radiator fans. It may have a blue or black plastic cap on it. The High-side port is on the driver-side (US) behind the coolant reservoir, below the cruise-control motor. It usually has a red cap. Of course the Low-side is where you would attach the freon supply. Caution: messing with AC systems can be dangerous to your property, vehicle, and your person. If you have any doubt about what you are doing or what to connect, where, don't! Always use eye protection and gloves to protect your hands.
You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the
vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.
The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it. Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.
To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on. Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with
plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.
Thank you
My expedition has the low ac port on the drivers side
