Its not that hard. just a little tight. helps if you have asian arms, hands and eyes (eyes to prevent oil and grime from gettin inside :))
If its a isuzu petrol engine its under the inlet manifold and its bugger to get to the bolts. You have to undo the drivers side engine mount & jack up the motor to get it out, that was in a gemini in Australia, theres more room under the bonnet on a rodeo ute(trooper). good luck GARYB in Oz!
You can only really see it from under the vehicle i had the same prob but i found it. its behind the bell housing and in front of the oil pan if your laying under the car with your feet out in front of the car, look to follow the same sort of wires that come off the battery to the starter. It is above part of the exhaust and is close to the driver side wheel well.
