Hey solo, 06-07 door lock actuators can blow a fuse in the glove box. bmw does have a specific bulletin that addresses this issue and requires replacing the fuse if blown and measure the resistance of all the door lock actuators to determine which is bad. the doors should be able to be opened with the key mechanically. if not for some reason, you should be able to comfort open the windows and will have to crawl inside the car. the fuse panel is inside the glove box and not fun to get to. I believe the fuse is a 10 or 15 amp fuse maybe 5th from the bottem right.

I suggest you to check fuse # 57 15Amp at juction box, you can access it from glove box. if the fuse is blown, replace it with 20A and try to operates lock/unlock 10X and replce door lock fails to responce during the operation. dont operate lock/unlock 15X the system will stop and you have to wait for few min to function it again.

Have had this problem. Solve it by reading the owner's handbook, which gives clear instructions. Do not use the key in the tailgate door before reading the instructions.

Before you bring it to a garage and pay good money check the fuses. Usually its as simple as that (located near the battery in the engine bay)
Hope this helps.
