Horn Stuck Stuck three different times, 1st was in garage, just hit lock button by accident, and horn went off, quit after a while. 2nd time was in parking lot at work - similar thing happened, but this time was trying to lock the car and horn stuck again, tried to see if this was a fuse problem - and seem to fix until today. While driving home, horn went off two different times and stayed that way for over 30 seconds each - then shut off.

My 2005 Sebring had the same problem earlier this year. I thought it was getting stuck because of the cold. Now my car will not start, keeps draining the battery. I am told by the dealership that it has a short and is draining the battery but in order to fix it they have to replace the air bag because it is all connected. $600.00 to fix. I am wondering if there is some sort of recall. Haven't been able to find one.

Considering how hungry dealers currently are, this sounds like blowing smoke to me.
Check with your local Better Business Bureau to see if these guys can be trusted.

BTW, Consumers Reports lists the Sebring as one of the most  troublesome cars.

If it happens, you can just disconnect the fuse for the horn, or relay. It could be the switch underneat the airbag or clockspring.

SOURCE: 2005 sebring convertible- horn goes off by itself for 30 seconds

FIrst off the horn's ground works through the steering wheel,so the wire is bare or the end is broken and grounding in a place where it should not. You will have to check the wires for the horn from the fuse box up to the wheel.
your power feed to the headlights and the door locks has an open ( the power is not connected somewhere ) Perform a wiggle test turn on the headlights and lift the hood, find the power distribution box and begin to wiggle the wire harness.Sometimes the chrysler fuse box under the hood get loose inside the power distribution box,it will have to be broken down all the way to the heavy wires comming out of hte box,you can tighten these connections your self.

My horn on my 95 Buick LeSabre Limited is continuously going off at random times with no one in it. This morning it went off 3 times before it finally quit and the only way I have figured out to get it to...

This happens to a lot of Buicks. The actual horn button in the steering wheel gets rusty and the rust makes connection across the button instead of you pushing the two pieces together to blow the horn. I think I'm telling right on the location: Raise the hood and look on driver's side infront of the radiator near the bumper you should see the horn. It kind of look's like a small black french horn. It will have 1 or 2 green wires usually going to it. Unplug them.

2001 Silverado: horn or horns do not work Hit switch and can hear ...

only one horn sounds when you hit the button. the other horn is for the alarm and door locks etc. im not sure which is which, but have someone push the horn button while checking for power and ground at the harness connector. if power and ground are there, replace the horn. for your own sanity, buy an original equipment horn that just plugs right in, a universal aftermarket requires you to frankenstein your wiring. good luck!

My horn used to honk when I locked my 1999 Jeep with the remote

If you have your owner's manual, there is a section that will tell you the exact sequence to press to enable/disable the horn bonk. It has three settings, chirp, honk, and off. The chirp is a really quick chirp of the horn. Honk is a longer honk. Off seems to be what you've set.

I hope this helps.

Can I stop my horn from sounding when I lock my 2009 Accord

You might can have the dealer program it not to honk, but its just the way the keyless entry works. I've owned 2 accords--an 06 and 08--and both of them honk the horn when the lock button is pressed twice. Pressing the button once will secure the car and arm the alarm. So once click is all you really need. And no your alarm is not malfunctioning.
