If the check engine light came on, drive to the nearest AutoZone, Checkers, or similar autoparts store. Have them scan the vehicles computer for trouble codes,this is a FREE service, you'll get a print out of the codes and a short description of the fault. If you ask the tech to explain the probable cause, most of the time they would do it. If you need further assistance, contact FixYa again.

Full engine tune up , with fuel injection cleaning.

this problem is caused by a defective fuel gauge sending unit, the sending unit is inside the gas tank, you must drop the fuel tank out of the car to replace the sender, it is part of the fuel pump module.

clean throttle body...make sure disconnect battery first

Check gauge light can come on for a number of different things, from Low fuel to low oil pressure to high engine temperatures. When the light comes on check all the gauge's and see whats causing it, one or more of the gauge's will be showing an issue, Low fuel or low oil pressure, Low battery power. Any of the mentioned things can cause it... Figure out whats causing it then you can remedy the situation...

Honestly i am having sort of the same problem with my guages but my rpm's and fuel guage are not working..... this is my second trailblazer and there always has been something wrong with the guages... what i think it is the cluster itself.... maybe the cluster or the wiring is screwed up........ if u got the engine light then go to auto zone and get it tested for FREE.... they will give u the code then go see inside whats wrong with your car.. i did it last night and kind of figured the problem........ goodluck

2004 Chevy Trailblazer radio won't eject CD. Push the eject button and the thing just clicks and says "check CD" . Tried bulletin 04--8-44-020C (fuse removal and reinstall) didn't work. Any other suggestions before going to dealer?

Its the cluster. Its about 500.00 dollars!
