never seen one but but any vehicle of this year will have a crank sensor ,unless it has a distributor in which case it could be inside the dizzy .?

Engine management lights are notorious for lighting up for no apparent reason. You don't have to have them but it keeps the old fluid and debris from getting pushed back up the lines and into the mastercylinder thus possibley having a small peice of debris get caught in a valve in the mastercylinder then it won't work right.

Check your Mass Air flow sensor. It might be dirty or the connections might be lose.

now if your vehicle has something similar but with a flapper/door. then check if it is dirty or not opening.
If your vehicle doesnt have any of these then It could be a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. Go to autozone and check on what it is then we can have a better idea of what is going on. Thanks
