If your old belt is still on the easiest way and can't go wrong is to mark the timing belt and pulleys in same position so they line up using nail varnish as it dries quicker than paint, wait for it to dry and then take bel off transfer the marks onto new belt by putting belts together making sure the are in line then just put belt onto car lining up with the marks on the pulleys tension belt and job done
