Right turn signal and brake lights working together.

Turn on the right turn signal and all the brake lights blink, as well as the right signal lights. Step on the brake and the right signal lamps light also. Turn on the warning flasher and all the brake and both sides of the turn signal lamps, front and rear, go to flash. Obviously they are connecting together. So where do I start. Do you think the turn signal switch (multi switch) could be the best culprit? Thanks.

Brake light trouble right side brake light will not come on but both flashers work also turn signals work older ford truck what could the problem

I have to think the problem is inside the turn signal switch, a poor internal connection. You know the brake signal first goes through the turn switch before it goes to the bulbs. That is why the brake lights and rear turn signal lights share the same filament in the bulb, and the same wire going to those lights. The only difference is the turning side light is affected by the turn signal flasher, causing blinking, while the other side- the non turning side-does not go through the flasher relay, but straight to the bulb from the turn signal switch. Change your turn signal switch and I believe you will solve the problem. Let me know, okay?

Problem with turn signal when headlight is on

this sounds like a earthing problem , so check the wiring for the head lights, see if any wires are trapped between something, bare wire touching car body , anythingthat doesn't look correct, could also be the indicator lever itself with a problem , but check the headlight wiring first

Brake light, reverse light and turn signal issues

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.
