2006 toyota tacoma heat wont shut off

The truck is a salvage, but looks new. It has been under water and the heat wont turn off, the fan will turn off but the temperture is always on hot even when the control is turned to cold. The ac compressor runs when turned on, but no cold air is felt and the temperture control has been replaced.

2001 Toyota Tacoma, is a flood truck in Galena, AK. Alternator won't charge battery, radio won't turn on and fan for defrost/heat won't operate. I have checked the fuses and all are good. I think all...

As the alternator is connected directly to the battery via the cable and the car was under water(flooded) the internals of the alternator will be corroded so a new alternator would be in order. The radio will have water in it so a new radio will be in order.. the fan motor is pprobably seized due to rust in the bearings so see if you cam move the fan manually. If it is stiff the again a new fan will be in order..

Tire pressure guage indicator in 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Yes, this is indictating at least 1 low tire of the 5, maybe more...Check ALL 5 tire pressures and set them to 29lbs, as per the specs and then turn your key to"ON"...then push and hold the button under the steering collumn until the light on the dash flashes 3 times, indicating that you have re-set the computer to recognize the pressure that you now have set....

Good luck.

Low and medium heater blower inoperative on 2006 toyota tacoma.

Resistor blown in heater. Follow the wires from the heater motor ( in foot well ) to a plug in the ducting between the fan and main heater body in centre of car. Unplug and remove the plate , it should be held in by a couple of screws. The plate should have a couple of wire coils of which , a couple will be broken. Replace resistor and heater should work.

2006 tacoma airconditioning problem

Replace the fan motor resistor, which is located in the blower housing, (under the dash, under the glove box) to the driver side of the fan motor. Held on by 2 screws. Common problem. I change a lot of them.
