Radio code will not stay set

You can't set the code, there is but one code and it is pre programmed into the radio at the factory.

if you didnt set the code your kinda screwed. it's a anti-theft idea once battery is disconnected (dead) or radio removed, you have to renter the correct code to work radio.

turn radio off and hold 1 and 6 on the radio
turn radio on serial code will light up
call dealer with serial number and they will give you radio code

radio needs reset again.remove negative battery cable for 5 minutes,reattach.this will reset radio.now turn on radio and enter radio code.

sounds like bad connection on glass grid causing interference noise to radio.. does the rear defrost work ok ???

Call a Honda dealer

Unless the Accord was jump started, creating possible power surge to damage radio, it should not of had any relationship to the radio.

But, just in case, would suggest disconnecting battery for 5 minutes, reconnecting battery, reentering radio code and see what happens.

If that fails, hopefully your under 36k miles or got the Factory extended warranty "Honda Care" Service plan, so take to the Honda Dealership to see what they say.

3 year warranty?

I need help fixing my radio on a 2006 Honda Accord...I could not find the code and after so many attempts my radio is saying ErrE and now i have found the code and now i can't start over with codes again....what can i do?
