Hot air blowing in car

I had Switched out the Battery and the Air conditioning started blowing hot air inside car.

Sounds like your blend door motor has gone bad. this motor controls the blend door in the heater box that allows eather cold or hot air to flow or a mixture of both. replacing this motor is a big job cause the dash must be moved out to get to the motor.

Check and see if you have freon if not thats your problem why the a/c is blowing out hot air

I would recharge it then see if that fixes the problem. if it keeps blowing hot the you will more then likely you will need to replace the compressor. but I would check all the line first you might have a leak or one of the lines could have come loose

On this car the blend air door is known for cracking at the swivel point that the motor sets in to change it back and fourth, Trust me as a 24 year ford tech, You need a new heater box to repair this issue

Problem with air conditioning on 2001 mitsubishi mirage. "Sometimes" will not blow cold, just hot. Coolant level ok. Usually will will start blowing hot after runnning air while car is stopped at idle....
the air conditioning system has most likely drawn moisture this is not good take it to have the system recovered and a new restrictor valve put in. leak checked and recharged
