YEP BAD FUEL PUMP WILL CAUSE STALLING AT LOW SPEED DRIVING ALSO OVER HEATING ENGINE,STUCK OPEN PCV OR EGR VALVE,FAULTY IDLE AIR SPEED CONTROL VALVE,FAULTY TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID.I WOULD HAVE CAR CODE SCAN FIRST BEFORE BUYING A $500.00 FUEL PUMP.
What your problem is indicating is that for some reason, insufficient coolant is being circulated through the engine. There could be many causes for this, the most common listed below:
Low coolant level
Bad thermostat preventing additional coolant from reservoir from entering the system
Leaking radiator hose
Leaking radiator
Bad water pump - a symptom of a bad water pump is the inability to adequately circulate coolant throughout the engine. This is especially true at low speeds or at a stop when the water pump turns at it's slowest.

Options. Run it thru the cab and put a nice switch on it. Just have to remember to turn it off every day. Or try running a small wire from the ignition fuse to the remote spot. Doesnt have to a big wire at all. Its just to tell the amp to go "ON"
serpentine belts should be replaced when cracks are running across"v" portions of belt,when missing ribs 1/2 " or longer,or cracks running parallel to "v" portion of belt. the thermostat should be replaced if the car seems to take a long time to warm up or if the engine runs hot
