I have no idea, we are not a parts service, this is and issue with a generic scanner, buy the GM OEM tool.

that is the connector for a GM scan tool, generic scanners most likely won't work.

are you getting 12 volts to it.i have two scanners one power up at battery or cigarette lighter . the other one power up by the diagnostic connecter under the dash. do your scanner have a button you hold down with finger to power it up once it turn on you put it to the car computar then it tells you year of car engine size type of fuel system.do your scanner have a nine volt battery to it.check out every thing . looking at my gm book you can pull computar code from under the hood at at a connector or at the relay box using a jumper wire .

1990 Geo/Chevrolet Tracker 2.0. No power after stop.

Question edited for clarity, change year from 19990, add maker.
Question moved to model category.

The 'Let's try changing this' method of car repair is seldom successful and it always expensive.

An auto electrician with a $5,000 scan tool computer can diagnose the issue in 30 minutes. It will be OBD1, but still better than guessing.

My Geo still doesn't start after resetting check engine light switch!

The check engine light being on indicates a problem in the electronic system that controls the engine, so resetting the CE light without reading the code that was set with the light being turned on by the on board computer has not fixed the problem that is keeping it from starting. This is an early system called OBD1, it requires a special scanner to plug in and read the fault codes you have. .

Reset Check engine light on 1993 Geo Tracker without scan tool.

A 1993 Tracker will have OBD1 technology. Just unplug the battery for 5minutes and plug it back in. If the light persists You will have to find out and repair the problem that your cars computer believes it has.

Took over a 95 geo tracker project car. alot of mhands in there before me. haveing problems with the clutch cable linkage under the dash. either somethings missing or has wrong parts on it. do you have a...

the cable just hooks over the top of the clutch pedal.
Google Clutch cable and you will get an automotive site.
Select Tracker and you should pull up a picture.
There is very little to it.
The cable comes through the firewall and hooks on the top of the clutch pedal.
Hope that helps

Need to know the exact location of the reset engine light

It depends if you have obd1 or obd2 computer, if you have obd1 jsut remove to battery cable for 5 minutes and it will reset the battery, if its obd2, you will need a code reader/programmer to do it. i am thinking being a 95 it may be a obd1, remove the cable for 5 minutes, go longer if you have the time, and reconect. let me know how it works. good luck.
