Where is the fuse for rear lights on Volvo v50 2008?

Front and Rear Fog Lights? Fuse 3 okay?

Pull switch out and test continuity with a multimeter. The light may work, but the power out may not.

And there is a relay involved as well

get it fixed safe and fast ,

Two things:

1. Could be the brake light switch has gone bad.
2. Brake Lamp Relay, located left rear side in fuse compartment that is covered in carpeting.
3. Make sure everything is DRY, not wet, or damp.

FUSE PANEL LOCATION
The fuse panel is located in the engine compartment. A label on the inside of the cover lists the fuse amperage and circuits protected.

have you checked the fuse?

if fuse and bulbs are fine then it could be the wiring or relay.

check the bulb. if its not the bulb check your fuse.

Volvo has had a lot of trouble with relays in the rear control module. Check/replace the relays for the rear lights with the updated relays.
