Have a 2006 Dodge Magnum with what I think would most likely be an ignition circuit problem. The engine cranks fine but will not start. I checked all fuses and they are fine. The battery is new. The car has started fine after a few days of dry weather in the past, but it will not start now. Does any-body have a wiring diagram on this 2006 Dodge Magnum 348-350 hemi/head engine ignition system or suggestions?

SOURCE: need wiring diagram for 2000 dodge neon

i would recommend buying a Haynes manual, as they have very good diagrams and schematics. If you do not want to buy one, though, you can create an online garage on Autozone.com by registering (which is free) and add your car to the garage to get access to a free manual online. These manuals are kind of hit-or-miss, though, and i have had mixed results with them. But for free, it is worth looking into first.

i hope this helps,
matthew

SOURCE: I have a Dodge Neon 2006 which was working fine

you may be right, try a spare key, that will elimanate the key chip, you will need a scan tool to diagnose this problem, also with key in crank position is there power at starter, the scan tool can tell yuo if computer is reading key chip signal and if signal if right and also you can see if starter is receiving start signal, good luck.

your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.

2007 magnum se 2.7 v6 wont turn over

Sounds like the engine is toast.
The warning light means the oil pressure has dropped below 10psi which can mean the engine is low on oil, or that something has happened to the oil pump or other components.
The crank bearings may be seized from lack of oil.
See if you can turn the crank by turning the alternator pulley.

if the truck has a tach watch it when it wont start. if the tach goes up when rollin over the sensor is fine. check for switchin at the coil with a test lite. the coil is a common failure especially if its all swollen and rusted.

2006 dodge stratus won't crank and cruise control won't light

Must not have been much of a mechanic. If the engine runs and sounds fine sometimes and other times it doesn't then it does not sound like a mechanical problem with the engine. Sounds more like a issue with either the ignition system or fuel system.

THESE ARE POSSIBLE CAUSES TO YOUR PROBLEM. CLASS 2 CIRCUIT IS OPEN SHORTED TO GROUND OR TO B+. THE PCM IGNITION POWER CIRCUITS HAS A HIGH RESISTANCE CONDITION. THE PCM MAIN GROUND CIRCUITS HAS A HIGH RESISTANCE CONDITION. THE SDM MODULE COULD BE SHORTED PULLING THE VOLTAGE LOW. THIS MORE LIKELY DEALERSHIP FIX.

that is the coil on top of #5 spark plug. you can replace the coil or switch it to another cylinder and see if you get a different code. misfire codes are 301-306.
