Did you bleed the cooling system after you reinstalled? Chances are high that there are trapped air pockets in the system. Those systems will thump you big time for not bleeding them (sometimes repeatedly) after a water pump change. It's possible, though unlikely, that the head gasket failed. Start by bleeding the system until it is free from air bubbles (heater in car set to max!) and that should take care of it. As for the oil leak, that could be due to the overheating condition you experienced.
take your water pump back off ,the rubber top hat should not over lap the water pump if in correct .and your water seal on the water pipe at the back of the pump should just be on the pipe do not push it right back. as for the oil should not be there check oil level .has not been over filled .and check your crankcase breather it may be blocked.

SOURCE: Leaking small amounts of anti-freeze,
Most likely a frost plug, you may need a mirror to see it.
The head is not likely to just leak from the back, check for steam from the exhaust when hot.

The coolant reservoirs themselves develope hairline cracks that you can't see and will allow coolant to come out under pressure, or when you are driving the car. I have a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 and its been losing coolant, about a cup or 2 a week I have to put in the reservoir. I have narrowed it all down to a leaking coolant reservoir.
