My windshield wipers are working but will not return to the down position. When in the off position they keep returning upright into the middle of the windshield? Is this the motor or possibly the Motor Pulse board? My windshield wipers stop in the upright position when turned off. They work fine, they just don't go down when turned off. The dealership wants $350 to fix!
This is a commoon problem with what is called the "Park pawl stop". The tab is most likely bent and needs to be re-aligned, then the wipers need to be re-timed. This re-timing can be a little difficult, although the re-aligning of the tab is failry simple.

my wiper arms are stuck up only when the wires turned off. But when you turn wipers on, they operate propper at any possition. then turn off wipers they stop striaght up.
