Try turning on the drivers side blinker them stepping out of the car check to see if the front blinker is blinking then check the rear blinker. If one is on but going too fast or just staying on that's okay for now. It's the blinker that doesn't light up at all is the problem. The blinker BULB needs to be replaced Usually called "Turn Signal" these bulbs are readily and inexpensively available at any automotive parts supply stores. I'm posting a short "How To" video on here for you... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuQnjGvsd74
When a turn signal bulb is blinking fast, it is an indicator that a bulb is bad in the system. Replace the left rear turn signal bulb, then see if the left front blinker has gone back to normal. This is most likely your problem. Let me know if it is still a problem and i will help you fix it. Good luck
You may have never had this problem before, but it is common in DeVilles. You gotta take your left blinker light out and swap it with the right one in both the front and rear. Then you check to see that the problem persists on the right side. If it doesn't, you just fixed the problem, if it does, then take the now right blinker bulbs and switch front and rear and see if there is still a problem. If there is then get someone to look at your blinkers while there on b/c you have a burned out light.
Usually when the turnsignal blinks rapid this is a indicator that the turn signal bulbs is blown, you will need to check both the front and rear signal to see which is not working, and then change the blown bulb or bulbs.
