Go to a parts store and get a relay. first figure out what is on. wipers, heater, are you using power windows? many things have relays. start the vehicle is it only when driving or at idle too. if it is at idle check under the hood with the vehicle in park.make sure it is not your AC pump "clicking" turns on and off when defrost and ac are off. but it clicks none the less. and check the master relay box should be on passenger side by the fender well. open it and look for the one snapping. touch if it helps determine. make sure you turn off everything and use one item at a time when checking.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee at parking lot speed I have a chatter coming from the diff. when I let off the accelerator, I have replaced the fluid with Royal Purple which says I DON'T have a modifier.

Sounds like you could possibly have a pinion bearing issue. Have you had the pinion seal replaced recently? if so, sometimes the nut that holds the yoke on the rear differential gets over-tightned causing the pinion bearing to be too tight in the race, therefor damaging the bearing assembly and causes a "chattering" sound. When a pinion bearing goes bad in these Jeeps that is the noise they will make, even at lower speeds. Hope this helps..

My jeep makes a sound from the rear for example today backed out of a parking spot and a loud clicking kinda like if u put a baseball card in the spoke of a bike only louder

Check the back brakes . I believe you have drum brakes in the back. The brake hardware. ie..Springs, clips.. come apart sometimes. And this will cause the clicking noise you hear

Crazy clicking/flashing lights

There is a bubble shaped sensor on you center dash near the windshield. It may be dirty, blocked, or broken. If you hear a high speed click and the lights strobe pretty quickly, it may be a bad relay. Last, you may have a bad ground. But - I doubt it since the lights work fine when not in Auto mode. I would start with the sensor then relay.

I have a 1998 jeep cherekee sport 4L 4x4

You can either find the correct cluster, drive yourself crazy re-wiring, or use the 'ole roll of black electrical tape and cover the lights so they don't annoy you. Just make sure that the important stuff (engine warning etc) is working.

Jeep won't start has power to lights but won't turn over

The starter is a good possibility. Try tapping the starter with a small hammer while trying to start it. Sometimes the brushes in the starter get dirty and tapping it will jar them loose. If the jeep starts then replace the starter. If the jeep does not start, take a test light and see if you are getting voltage to the big nut on the starter while trying to start it. If it's getting 12 volts and the jeep does not start, then replace the starter.
