Yes you can just unscrew the bulb and there will be no problems. If it is a screw in type just unscrew it and if it is a bayonet type push in and twist it to get it out.
I have a key to start my car but no key to unlock my trunk and i have look for a lach it is a 2000 ford focus how can i get in or if i get a key made would it work
Hi,
the trunk light is activated when the trunk is opened. Quick check. When it is dark, carefully check around the trunk lid of the car for light being emitted from within the trunk, indicating that the trunk light is not operating correctl. If you feel confident in your skills. Open the trunk, and carefully adjust the trunk light so that the trunk lid contacts the switch and places it in the off position. Do exercise care when making adjustments, they are easily damaged.
Try to look inside the lens inside the trunk to see if the sockets are indeed interchangeable. If they are, then someone mixed them up. You can usually twist out the bulb sockets from their round holders with a tab, and put the socket where it belongs.
If the trunk is 'open' ... there is probably a light in the trunk and the light will kill the battery over night ... yes. Adjust the switch to fix this problem.
