I am going to name a few parts which can affect fuel pump performance. The crankshaft sensor tells the system to boost pressure for a given RPM. A misread there can set the fuel pump too high or too low. The FPM, fuel pump module adjusts the fuel pump. The fuel pump relay may be stuck ON while the ignition is off.
Are the old fuel pumps being checked? You could be trashing good pumps. As I remember there were internal pump assemblies which had a screen and other components and the pump attached to them and then there were units which did not separate.
My point is that with the multi-component style, the balance of parts that you are not replacing may be destroying every new pump you install.
You need more than a wiring diagram, you need electrical values and operating ranges.
I hope my info is of some help.

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump relay on the 95 ford taurus

Hello , fuel pump relay location is in the relay box by the radiator. The fuel psi regulator is on the fuel rail itself. The regulator looks like a small disk about 1.5inchs in dia. It will have a vacuum line running to it.

1985 Ford f250 was running fine, let sit for couple weeks and would not start. disconnected fuel line from carburetor and no fuel coming through when turned over

I would suspect your fuel pump is getting weak. Regular driving kept it full, but where it sat for a couple weeks had time to drain and won't pick up fuel again.

I have a 95 F250 which periodically shuts off when using the front fuel tank when ½ full or under. The vehicle also seems to siphon fuel to the rear fuel tank while parked on various occasions. I am...

the fuel pump in the front tank could be over heating causing it to shut down for a short period of time. gas in the tank acually works like a coolant for tank mounted pumps so less gas = more heat
