Trunk wont unlock on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee

cars have kid protection feature, with lock defeats.

If it will crank but won't idle then it is the idle air control valve

probably needs a new latch but from inside strip out the interior boot panel and check latch operation and you should be able to open by pulling rods

when the alarm goes off try unlocking the trunk the jeep i bought the larm is runned through the trunk if i dont unlock the trunk first the alram goes off

you will need to replace the the door lock actuator for this door. when you unlock the doors do you hear a loud noise yep that's the problem.

solenoids are going bad nd will need replaced

Have you tried pressing firmly at the bottom-center and then trying?
If you get it open, spray the lock mechanism with some durable lubricant - not WD-40 or similar since these lose most of their volume through evaporation.
