SOURCE: 1995 gmc yukon i have change the fuel assmbliy

you can manually actuate the relay if you want. Take the cover off, and push the contact over with a screwdriver and see if you can hear the pump. Have you checked to see if there's power to the relay, both the control side and the side providing power to the pump? There's two different circuits involved here, so you have to make sure they're both ok. If you have power before the relay, and power coming out of the relay headed to to pump, then your problem falls between the relay and the pump. Other things to consider, are the fuel pressure sensor, and oil pressure sensor. Some vehicles will not turn the pump on if they sense no oil pressure after a couple of seconds. Secondly, if the fuel pressure sensor is telling the pump that there's plenty of pressure, (even if there's not) it'll shut the pump down. Hope this helps you.

Not getting any power to the fuel pump 1995 GMC Yukon 517 later

If you actually have NO power at the pump and the fuse and relay are good, then there is a break in the wire between the fuse block and the pump but most likely it is a bad fuel pump

My 1995 yukon gt went out while i was driving, i replaced the fuel pump and im still not getting fuel to the tbiz. what do you the it mybe or what can i check while trouble shooting.

You may have a bad control module, this controls the injectors and fuel pump, also have you checked for spark,as sometimes you loose the spark also when module goes bad.

Turns over but wont start, not sure if it is the fuel pump or water in gas

Instances like this is always fuel system related. Consider checking and replacing your fuel pump if need be.

Have a look at the fuel filter too.

Fuel pump is located in the fuel tank while the fuel filter is located in the hood.

Good luck and don't forget to rate this location.

Engine will turn over but not start

Yes the pump is electric and its located in the fuel tank. If the pump is getting power and ground, and not coming on it needs to be changed. Use only an OEM pump in this vehicle. Don't use an aftermarket pump.
