I changed the main fuel relay on my 1992 prelude because it would not start. the fuel pump does not come on at 2nd position of ignition for two seconds nor does the check engine light come on and go off. any suggestions??? i am not getting any fuel as i removed the banjo bolt on my filter and got nothing.

the fuel pump fuse and relay should be in under hood fuse box. the reason why it will not start when hot or run the fuel pump. is the fuel pump relay, is getting hot and shuting off fuel pump. good-day !
have u checked the connection at the fuel cut off switch, also can u hear the pump running when ignition is switched on if u can hear pump ,check fuel filter for blockages
Sounds like it could be a Main Relay (with controls the fuel pump & others). Look it up - on the '92 models its under the dash near the steering column.
