1995 Volvo 850 Electric Door Looks do not Work

Try this trick, push the lock button once your in the car to unlock first then lock then unlock again, your kill switch is activated as anyone could unlock the door with a key, but to be linked together via bluetooth remote is exclusive and good practice if you choose to stop a thief

check central locking system fuse it controls all door locks and other acessories.need go to dealership buy remote keys..

Should be a button or lever either under the left side of your seat, or by your light knob. push button or pull lever, if door does not open then you have either a broken/stretched cable (if you have a pull lever type release) or most likely a frozen (as in not moving, not literally) gas door lock. replace remote battery to make sure, but if alarm is activated it continous to chirp the alarm or if your alarm system is set by the manufacturer try to relearn the program, if all fuse are ok, and your remote lock/unlock is work, check for lose ground connection, if remote is not working, replace the battery then try to do this. swtch ignition in 10 seconds to on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on wait 30 seconds, press any button of the remote once, turn igniton off, after 30 seconds start the car, if not go to the nearest service center to check the troublecodes

You may have a bad remote or it needs to be reprogramed.

remove the door pillar trim and un bolt it.slide seat forewards and remove the door surround rubbers then take off the door pillar trim

lock and unlock with all keys at drivers door

you either have a faulty central locking motor or the wiring harness may be damaged.
Remove the door panel and check if you have a live feed to the central locking motor when you use the fob to lock or unlock. If you have power, then it will most likely be the motor that is at fault.
