Oxygen sensor volts high code 1193 in computer, check engine light comes on and off, when braking to come to a stop the radio goes off, heater fan stops working, power windows won't work and wipers stop after releasing the brake peddle everything works again....this does not seem to happen when there are certain weather conditions like rain, cold etc....had it to different places and they don't know what it is....checked pcm, tcm(recently replaced both approximately 2 years ago) and checked the module that controls the instrument panel to no avail

Emission system -- Inlet Air Temp. Circuit High
voltage. The sensor is detecting too hi a voltage at the throttle body - could indicate plugged air filter, not enough air getting to engine OR the sensor has gone bad.
Code 1193 is for the intake air temp sensor telling the computer the air temp is very high when it is not. The temp sensor and circuit would need to be checked with a scanner to verify the problem.
These codes, po 138 bank 1 sensor 2 shorted to voltage and code po158 means bank 2 sensor two shorted to voltage. these are the two rear oxygen sensors in the exhaust system. there two up frt and two in the rear, check the wiring on the two rear sensors, make sure that the wiring is not cut or stuck between metal. if the wiring is good then replace both rear sensors, when you get them ask for the left and right after the cat sensors. or bk1 s2 and bk2s2. after replacing them reset the computer. go to an auto parts sotre or if you have a code reader you can do it. hope this helps good day.
There is some sort of diagnostic code stored in either the ECM(engine computer) or TCM(transmission computer). There are many sensors and solenoids and other data parameters that can cause a codes to set other than just the oxygen sensors. You will need to have the code(s) pulled to know where to start.
This code is for the intake air temp sensor, it is either on the air cleaner box or in the hose that connects box to engine. Many times it is just unpllugged because someone changed air filter.Since this is a voltage error code if is no unplugged then it is most likely bad.
Is it high voltage or signal high. If it is truly high voltage it could be a wire crossed with a 12 volt wire, but more likely an engine controller that has gone bad. Use a digital volt ohm meter to determine the voltage on the reference circuit. Normal voltage should be near 5 volts.
If the issue is signal high, this indicates a broken wire between the engine controller and the sensors.
Good luck.
actually there are 4 sensors. one on each exhaust manifold and then as you said one prior and aft the catalytic convertor. this is saying it is reading too rich a reading. check the condition of your spark plugs. you need to pin point the reason. chances are it is not the o2 sensor. happy holidays
how did you come up with the code? because if you know the code number any mechanic thats honest will tell you what the code corresponds with what problem i suspect your oxygen sensor
