I had the same problem. It is probably the laser reader for the CD player. I took it in to the dealer and was referred to a vender as the warranty had expired. I took it the vender 10 days ago and just had it re-installed today. Works well. BTW, the dealer took it out and send it to another company which repaired it and sent it back.

If you are using "home-made" or "burnt" CDs, this can happen. Sometimes, you can remove the radio from the dash, and unplug it. That may reset the CD player, and the discs will eject.
It works for me about 85% of the time. Hope this helps.

Other than replacing or repairing the radio, not much can be done. The dealer can send your out to be repaired, but buying an aftermarket radio is usually a better option. You can get a better sounding, nicer looking radio for cheaper than repairing yours.

CD changer will not play reads "player error" .

Most new car-stereo's don't have an "oldschool" CD-drive, but really a CD-ROM drive; meaning that they won't (properly) read and/or play copy-protected CDs.

Most CD protections are specially designed not to work in CD-ROM drives to prevent copying. As a side-effect most of those protected CDs won't work in car-stereo's.

Try a CD without copy-protection (like an homemade audio CD using burning software on your computer) and see it that works ?

In case that doesn't work either, your car's CD-drive is probably broken ...

CD player (6 disc changer) "locked up"

Take it to the dealership, your G35 should have a 4 year bumper to bumper on it. They'll replace the radio under warranty most likely.
