the p0441 code has to do with the fuel i have heard of people simply replacing the gas cap or simply cleaning it to get the p0441 code to go away you may need a new cap thoe. the canister purge valve would need replaced if that dosent work. those are the most common fixes. i hope this info helps you
You may have real problem or simple problem such as loose gas cap.
But be real careful before DISCONNECTING the batteries.
Most vehicles from 1996 and newer have a stay alive memory built-in to the computer system. When you disconnect the battery from the vehicle to reset the check engine light. The computer will be able to hold the memory and the code for several minutes and in some cases several hours.

if you have replace the purge solenoid the problem is either the vaccum supply hose is loosing vaccum or the purge side is hose is either blocked or cracked.
one you have the diagnostics done you will havbe your answer as there any number of things that can and will activate the check engine light from low oil to loose gas cap to a bad ABS pump/comtrol module or even wheel speed sensors.
Hey I had the same code and I have a 2000 honda civic lx. My cousin
works at honda and drives a '96 honda civic and he has had that code
before on his car as well.
First thing he came up with was that the catalytic converter was
cracked. We checked mines, and lo and behold, that's what it was.
Look under your hood, and there should be a catalytic converter with a
sensor sticking out of it. It is connected to the exhaust manifold and
the sensor sticks out of the heat shield. Around the sensor, look for a
crack. If there's a crack, that's your problem.
p0441 - Evaporative emission control system Incorrect purge flow. can be caused by a lot of things and is usually related to a small leak in the emission control evap system, try replacing the gas cap and see if it helps, if not, the system needs to be tested for a leak with the scantool or a leak tester or both.
usually you will see p0440 p0441 and p0446 together but before anything replace your gas cap and besure to tighten it down when you gas up the vehicle, 90% of the time with those codes either a loose gas cap of bad gas cap gasket is the problem
Otherwise - Might be a canister leak, defective VSV valve or hoses, bad gascap seal.

Could be a loose gas cap, or it was left loose once. P0441 means: p0441- evap purge system performance. In some cases disconnecting the battery over night will clear the code. Take off the Negative cable only always wear safety glasses when working with a car battery.
My check engine light was on for a long time, after new sparkplugs and several trips to tuffy auto and almost $500 spent I gave up and brought it to a honda dealer-I HAD BAD FUEL INJECTORS - $700 spent everything ok now.no more annoying check engine lights!!!!
