Hi have a mercdes e220 cdi auto 2004 having gearbox problems: Taking reverse ok and Drive but only 1st and 2nd gear and not taking manual box any suggestions what might be wrong?

I think you mean ESP light on not the epc, first check you front and rear tires must be different sises tires fitted in to the car if not psiblly faulty one of wheel speed sensor, is this information helped you?

Fuse blowing indicates some circuit is drawing too much current. Figure out what that fuse supplies and investigate that circuit.

I have mercedes benz E220 cdi avantgrade,i havent been driving my car about one week.this morning when i start engine cardidnt start, on dash board tis apeared ,ESP not avallabel see owners

The ESP message came on because the battery went low causing your steering angle sensor to lose syncronization. There are 2 different ways to resync the steering angle sensor. One way is turning the steering wheel from lock to lock and the 2nd way generally involves just driving the car around like normal and it will resync on its own. You will most likely just have to drive the car around until it resyncs on its own because of warning message your getting. When it says see owners its because in the owners manual there is a description on what the message means and what to do to fix it. Basically it just tells you to drive the car. Hi. I have a W210 E320 CDi of 2001 vintage. It will only start with a very small squirt of easy start. Once running, it deives without any apparent problems other than a very slight uneveness on idle, but...

fuel pump on front of engine is not drawing up fuel due to seals worn. check for fuel in filter housing.
if no or low fuel, replace seals or / and pump.

Reset computor on mercedes E220 estate

E-Class (W210) 1995-2002: E 200, E 220D, E 240, E 290TD, E 300TD, E 200, E 240, E 280, E 320, E 420, E 430 (Wagon, Touring, 4Matic)

Turn key to ON, not run just ON, so all the dash lights are on, press the O botton twice quickly, like twice in one sec. Service reset will come on with the little wrench symbol, immediately turn key to the off position, press the zero button and hold it in while turning the key to the on position again, hold the button till it beeps, release button and turn key to off position.

While your in the car anyway do the ecu reset and set the learned driver values back to the factory settings,like an instant tune up in two minutes time... (FSS = Flexible Service System)
