1995 Cadillac Fleetwood not getting any heat.

is your car running at normal temperatures? possibly bad heater core. the flaps that direct the air flow in the vents may not be working properly. and has it always had this problem you may want to see if someone has bypassed the heater core there are two coolant lines going into your firewall right next to each other. sometimes when the heater core goes bad people will do this to get by but if youve had heat before than this off course would not be the problem

I am a girl with a 1985 cad fleetwood brougham and the air flow for defost is not working and i get steam coming out .Is it a heater core? karen

if it is sweet smelling steam, it is a leaking heater core. They are hard to get to. If a small leak, add a can or bottle of stop leak to the radiator or coolant reservoir.

The no air flow to the defrost ducts is confusing since, by law, the system is desgined to fail to defrost if there is a system problem, like a vacuum leak to the heater controls.

Sounds like you have 2 issues. Is the coolant low in the radiator and overflow bottle?

report back.
