Car trouble my 1989 bmw 530i wont start i drove too the shop came back and when i tried too start it later it just made a clik sound its not the battery cause i checked

dont need nav to scan vehicle have scanned for any trouble code --also check key and ign system for wear -damage or failure

CKP sensor or cam sensor. one goes bad and causes other to go bad. easy fix and not too expensive.

Check battery voltage as well as alternator voltage.

Hi, You did not mention what size engine is in this vehicle or mileage, but your starting issue sounds like it is related to the ignition control module. I am assuming the fuel pressure is ok at this point. The control modules are known to act up over time and can cause a driveability problem that your experiencing. The module will look like this;

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

it is the window regulator your motor is ok this is a very common thing onBMW

This is because of the cs changer which is mounted in the boot of your cars , this happens when there is any vibration in the car or the wiring is shorted please get it checked .....................
