Have someone check your tires and make sure you haven't picked up a nail in one of them.

I really don't like sears but I don't beleive the problem lies in the tire replacement. I had this once. It was a "brain" inside the car on the passenger side. I followed the "clicking" to the part and replace it. Problem solved. But there were other problems in the vehicle. Like the seat wouldn't move and the auto trunk wouldn't work. Anything not working in the truck?/

The problem doesn't sound that bad first of all. Listen take it to a brake-check the first chance you get and tell them you hear a noise on that side. They will put it on a rack and check it, you don't have to pay anything and they may locate the problem. This way your not out any money. We need to try to zero in on the problem. This way we eliminate some things at no cost.Let me know the diagnoses by the pros. Hang in there. I will help you figure it out.

I just bought an2003 ford explorer 4x4 and i have a loud humming noise coming from the front end tires are brand new it has around 190,000km please help

If the noise is only when the vehicle is moving it sounds lek you have a bad wheel bearing. You can inspect ford move ment or play shaking the tires up and down and left to right while lifted up on hoist or jack. If there is no movement doesn't necesarily mean the bearings are okay, however if there is movement in bearing replace and drive again. Antoher way to determine Which wheel bearing is bad is to drive and turn to the left, if the noise gets louder than it mens the rightside wheel bearung is bad. If you turn to the right and noise gets louder replace driver side front wheel bearing. Also Rub your hands across your tires, does it feel wavy or uneven, you could have cupped tires, I DON'T KNOW HOW NEW THEY are but cupped tires will also make this noise. One way to see if it is the tires is to do a rotate If noise changes at all then you no its a tire causing noise. Hope this helps.

1997 mercury cougar pulls to the left when braking. i put on new tires new brake new rotors, and new calipers. thank you, tim

this car needs the lower ball joints checked for excessive play, when pressing the brake pedal the excess play is transferred to the weakest point. the ball joint can be pressed out of the lower control arm or purchased new as a new control arm.

2000 Lincoln LS rumble from 40 - 45 mph

See If the pitch changes when you swerve the car from left to right. You don'e have to swerve hard enough to scareanyone, just enough to load one side more than another. If the pitch changes, you likly have a bad wheel bearing or tire. Tires will make any noise a wheel bearing will so switch tires first side to side and see if the problem fgollows the tires. If not then check the wheel bearing.
Also and maybe first:

The fact that the noise is limited to such a narrow speed could also indicate an aerodynamic issue such as a roof rack or bike rack or somthing like that having moved and is now vibrating.

2000 Ford Explorer AWD purchased with different size tires

It is true that driving with different size tires can damage the transfer case, depending on how long it was driven like that. But--- even if the tires are the same size it can cause this. if the tires are worn and two tires are new the circumference of the tires must not be more than 1/2 inch difference from each other, take a tape measure and put it around the tire in the center and measure the difference of each tire
