700 is transmission control system malfunction. For now I'd concentrate on 108 which is M.A.P. sensor . Likely needs to be replaced but try cleaning connection at it first. Possibility that the transmission code, is an old one, or it's been tripped somehow by other problem, so unless it's experiencing shifting problems, I wouldn't get too worried about it right now. Once you've cleaned, or replaced MAP sensor, disconnect battery for a minute or so, re-attach, & try it and see how it works. Keep me posted.

1989 lesabre stumbles and dies

I agree it sounds like the magnet for the cam sensor, or a problem in the wiring harness.
I don't think the engine will run with the cam sensor disconnected since it needs that signal to set base timing. It can run without the crank sensor once the engine starts.
There is a slight chance the timing chain is getting loose and affecting cam timing too. You may be loosing plastic teeth on the cam gear.

2003 Civic just out of 5 month storage, engine light comes on,sometimes lacks power and at times while idling,it stumbles and almost dies, then surges two or three times and returns to a normal idle again.

you need to go to Autozone or Advance auto parts to get it scanned for free to see what code your engine has stored. this is where you have to start. once you have that code you can give it to us and we can help you better.with out guessing.
