looks like you need to get a new servo unit. It leeks air only when you press brake pedal which is a major sign that the unit has failed and needs replacing. The air seeping is a dead giveaway. Your power brakes are now manual brakes, but stiffer. The diaphram in the brake booster has torn and the hissing noise is the engine vacuum escaping (you hear it louder when you depress the pedal right?). Replace the booster and you will be fine. The brake lights probably don't work because you can't push the pedal down far enought to release the switch. Please rate. Thanks.
right, your booster diaphram has torn. You will have to replace the booster. Often this can be done without breaking the hydraulic system open. If you would like to do it yourself, let me know and I will send instructions.
Is there any problems with the brakes besides the noise? If theyre acting up, it could be your brake booster. It's hard to determine without more specific details, brakes always make a quiet hissing noise, depends on where, how loud, how the pedal feels...
Sounds like a broken brake line. The broken line has emptied your master cylinder leaving you no fluid and that's why the pedal goes to the floor. Very dangerour to drive in this condition, be careful.
Hello;
Yoou most likely have a vacuum leak in the line from the booster to the intake. It could be a bad booster or check valve as well.
Thanks;
