Changed the battery and alternator and a code p0622 code comes up and the car wont run right and the battery light is still on
Code p0622 refers to alternator ,field control-circuit malfunction causes--wiring ---alternator---battery---ECM. I would have the battery load tested first to check for loose for terminals and failing cells. Then check that the plug in the back of the alternator is tight
Tap the alternator whith 2x4 seems to be all set now?? brushes??

I'm sorry to say it could be the computer.
The computer controls idle speed as well as alternator output.
If the check engine light is on you should get it scanned for trouble codes.

I have researched these codes, you must have some kind of issue with the alternator, did you test it with a load bank that pulls max amps from system? I suspect either the connectors to the alternator are loose or the alternator has a bad diode in the rectifier bridge circuit, have it tested again, kragen does it for free as well as others.

When the car is off battery voltage should be about 12.5 volts. When the car is on it should be just below 14 but more than 13. If it is then voltage sensing circuit is lying to you. If not then you must check all connections from battery to alternator and starter. When the car is off, does it drain the battery? If so, something other than radio and computer is using power. Electrical troubleshooting can be very complex are you familiar a DVM? (digital volt multimeter) If not you may decide this is too much for a do it yourselfer. You could damage all the electrical system if not careful.
