With a test light check if you have power there with lights on and with lights off, compare left side with right side as far as location in the tail lamp plug for the tail lamp park lights.Trace the harness back to the left side underneath usual corrosion in this area.

The trailer plug wiring just taps into the truck harness to the rear lights so if the truck lights work, the problem is in the wiring, not a fuse.

One of the wiring harness is not contacting. Start at the steering column and trace all the connections.If you have a tow package, check the splice to the tow plug also.

You can get any wiring diagram for any vehicle. It will cost about $12 and it's well worth it. It will give you the complete diagram bumper to bumper.

I'm assuming you're just going to splice into the tail light wiring so that's what these wire colors are:
at the tail lamp 3 way connector:
black and yellow = park lamp
dark green and brown = left turn signal
there should be another connector with violet and black wire for reverse lights.
the stop lights are turned on through the turn signal circuits.

If you have a trailer plug installed trace the wires to see if there is a bare spot or broken wire.If no plug then you need to check for bare wire or broken wire from tail lamp assemblys to where the wire plugs into main wireing harness.
