The 2007 Saturn Vue has 50 NHTSA complaints for the air bags at 63389 miles ... I started my car and the drive side air bag light came on no blinking just on.

There are literally hundreds of sensors in your vehicle, all the way from wheel speed, exhaust, engine temp, engine knock, engine position, interior temp, impact (airbag) and much more. battery do boil, may be bad battery, check the volts 12,5 off to 14.7 max running, this car needs head gasket checked by looking to se if the coolant is too high in the bottle or too low

never wash or wet an air filter as it closes up the pores in the paper element
fit a new element and then run the fault codes or reset the ECM using a scan tool

if the air bag light is blinking then u need a clock spring for the air bag then it will start working again

It is telling you that there is a problem with the air bag system and you will need to have the error code pulled with a scanner to identify what the problem is. Sometimes they will start blinking after you reach a certain amount of miles(usually 100,000) because the air bag system has to be re-inspected after a certain amount of years or mileage.
