2002 Audi A4 Quatro 1.8L turbo
Runs but acts like its not getting enough fuel
I bought a fuel filter but I can't find it on the car.
What looks like the fuel filter looks different on the car then what I bought.
Could you let me know or show a diagram of exactly where the fuel filter is located
Thank You
Steve

FUEL PUMP GETTING BAD THE CHECK VALVE LETTING ALL FUEL DRAIN BACK TO FUEL TANK.HAVE VECHICLE SCAN FOR CRANKSHAFT SENSOR FAULTS. CAMSHAFT SENSOR FAULTS.
Hi i have 02 audi a4 slimline. on motorway going 70 mph and to past a car dropped it down to fourth gear probly hit 90mph. Drove for a further hour and a half, and hear a bang under car. car started to loose power. was drivable but hissing noise come out of it when accelerating. Feels like turbo not kicking in. Would this be that the turbo has blown of maybe burst pipe or something. If anyone can share a light on this i would be very greatful. Cheers
Fuel filter is not fun on this car. Located in the front top of the tank beneath the car. Tank must be lowered to gain access. Banjo nuts difficult to access. Fuel under pressure in line will squirt out... messy. Good job to be done on a lift.
It's possible that the diverter valve (DV) has failed. The OEM valve has a plastic diaphragm inside and it can crack. If this happens, the car will leak boost air and will lose power as a result. Go to www.audiworld.com, click on Resources, then Tech, and then go to the engine article about replacing/upgrading the diverter valve - it'll show you where it is and how to do it.
Thank you so much for the help
