I need to replace my automatic door latch from my 91 Honda civic 4 door on the driver side. So can I replace it with a 91 honda accord 4 door driversides latch for my automatic seatbelt retractor?

you must carefully pop off the door plastic clips using a screwdriver and prying gently until they pop out , also remove the screws under any small round plastic screw cover inserts and in the plastic door handle area

SOURCE: take apart honda accord drivers side door

inside the handle there is ONE screw covered by a piece of plastic. remove the plastic and then remove the screw. pull handle out and disconnect it from the door latch bar. replace in reverse

sounds like latch is not allined properly ,try moving striker pin a little in or out up or down ,slowly closes door to see if you feel any indecators as to what is the problem., good luck.

Check the fuses, if they are all good then change the window motor on that one door!
