Dear Sir, In my Nissan Sentra 2005 (1.8)car, since last two days there is some problem in my Climate Controller. The fan is working perfectly with all the 4 different speeds. Cooling is also OK. But the cooling air blow is stuck on the front wind shield and legs, it can not be changed on driver / passenger, or legs only or any other directions. The direction regulator works OK but the cold/hot air direction is not changing. Can this be repaired or I will have to change the climate controller ? My name is Janak and my email address is "[email protected]". Pls let me know the solution if any. Thanks. Janak.

That sounds to me like your vent "tubing" is disconnected somewhere along the line. I am not sure exactly how it is set up in the vehicle you are driving, but I am certain fixing it will involve taking apart most all of your interior then putting it back together after a 10 minute fix.

The actuator has gone bad. They can be programed, and reset, but usaly they are bad, and that will only patch the problem for a while.

Are you aware of any codes that may stored in the body control module and do you hear a clicking or ticking noise in the rear?
