If it is a factory radio you will have to remove it> call your local mit dealer and give them the # on the back of the radio. They will tell you the code.

You need to go to a Mitsubishi dealer with the VIN and proof of ownership, they have a special number to call once they're sure the radio isn't stolen. I hope this helps. Take care.
u need to remove the interior panel around the cd player and on top of the cd player (infinity in my 2000 eclipse) and there will be sum numbers on the top. i don't remember which set of number u need so write them all down and call a dealer ship in the part dept. and they will *** the information and will be able to give u the code over the phone cuz i had the same problem twice and thats what i did both times. hope this is helpful
