Mercedes estate automatic rear load cover

The car is a 2006 320 cdi estate. The cover normally raises and lowers when the tailgate is opened. In the past the load cover has stayed down (the electric motor did not operate) but started working again after closing the tailgate and opening it again. Now the cover has decided to stay down all the time.

Is there a switch on the tailgate to operate the load cover, could it be a fuse or even the motor?

i cannot get the rear load cover to automatically lift itself out of the way, as the motor does not seem active.

THE LUGGAGE COVER HAS STOPPED AUTOMATICALLY RAISING WITH THE TAILGATE. I THINK A COMBINATION OF OPENING / IGNITION MIGHT BE THA ANSWER BUT I HAVE TRIED LOTS OF THINGS. MINE'S AN E 220 '08 PLATE.

I had this problem with my E280 CDI (2007)
I coincidentally charged the battery and it now works. This may be nothing to do with it but the MB service dept did msay that some functions fail before others if the battery is flat.

Where is the fuse for the rear hatch on a 1993 chevrolet blazer? My rear hatch will not open at all. I can hear it ttrying to unlatch the rear windoiw but nothing happens.

If you can hear it then you don't have a fuze problem. More than likely it can be fixed by adjusting the catch in the tailgate. Open you hatch with the key and lower the tailgate. Remove the tailgate interior panel/cover and you'll see the catch for the window. Adjust the catch a little, tighten it up, raise the tailgate and close the hatch. Try your release on the dash again and see if this fixes the problem. You may have to repeat this a couple of times until you get it adjusted to where it needs to be. If this works, then reinstall the tailgate interior panel and you're all done.

Remove a wing mirror cover to fit indicator lens on the wing mirror for a mercedes c220 cdi 2003.

If you have electric folding mirrors fold them in, if not fold the mirror back against the spring (not easy as it is quite strong). Looking from the front, to the mirror cover side of the spindle on which the mirror pivots if you pull it forward, you will see the end of the main mirror body which has a groove it it. At the end of the groove there is a springclip which can prised up using a flat bladed screwdriver. It is easiest to place the blade under the clip and twist the clip to release it. Once fully released the cover can then be withdrawn. Refitting is the reverse of the above but if the cover does not automatically clip in place you may have to force it back with the screwdriver.

Estate tailgate glass release button

I had the same problem with 2005 estate it used to open when starting the engine but does not unlock at all. The problem is the the sensor on the glass tailgate handle where the wiper arms is. It will cost around £70 from Jagaur themselves as I have just got one.
