Replaced the six spark plugs, the three coils and the car still misses..
1995 Buick Park Avenue
6 cylinder
3800 Series
Has the service engine light come on? If so, have the codes pulled and it will narrow down the cylinder that is causing the problem.
If no service engine light, have you narrowed it down to one cylinder or is it random.
Let me know and we will go from there.
Regards,
I had the same problem with my 95 Park Ave with 200k miles, and the problem stemmed from the crank shaft's connector thing, that attaches it to the engine (sorry, not too car-part inclined here_ had started to wear out, causing the crank shaft to move around and causing the harmonic balancer to not spin properly. I had to replace the crank shaft, crank shaft sensor, cam shaft sensor, harmonic balancer, and belt. Don't know if yours is of a similar problem, but it may be something to check into.
I also replaced the wires, I had two that weren't firing! :o
Did you replace the wires as well? If not, would check to make sure they are not arcing and causing a misfire. The wire ends on those plug wires where they attach to the plug are notorious for splitting and then the they arc against the block or heatshield and cause a misfire. Would double check this. Usually easier to see the spark from this if it is dark. Hope this helps.

the check engine light comes on and stays on, as it did before i changed the coils and the spark plugs. The only code that was pulled was Ignition Control Module?
