as cars run DC power the polarity doesn't matter in a solenoid unit such as door lock if it has 2 wires ( power wire and earth wire ) Just reverse the wiring and it should work
hi you need to remove the top mount intercooler then the starter motor will be easier to get to, its held on by two nuts and the wires that are connected to it. its located on the passenger side of the motor at the back and can be tricky sometimes
Yes they will bolt in. Make sure you have the sensors matched. You might have to do some playing with the computer to make it all work properly. Good luck and have a great day.
The power button extends the time in each gear, the other button I think your describing juts up vertically in front of the AT selector. if you press this down you'll find that you can move the selector without having the ignition key in, it's a get out of jail card really
The easiest wy I have found with mine is to undo all the mounting blots and release all the non fluid hose clamps. you can then manouvre it around with the fluid hoses still connected. It is still a bit of a mission but should only take 20 mins to replace once you have finished. The main problem will be lining up all the intake pipes when putting it back together.
drain water out first (there is a bung up front on top of front intercooler) the disconnect hoses and undo the 4 bolts holding top intercooler to the engine frame. easy as.
