On some models the brake light switch goes thru the turn signal switch before getting to the bulbs. You probably have power at the brake light switch if the 3rd light works. I would check for voltage at the turn signal.
The brake light side of the bulbs is powered by the brake switch and travels thru the turn signal switch. If the third brake light works, I would guess the problem is in the turn signal switch.
You have to get it out with a small screwdriver. you pop off the bottom of the light the you will see the bulb.it was kinda of hard to get it out but i kept working at it and i finally got it.
